Mare is a series in pen and ink and watercolor paintings depicting coastal landscapes in Oregon. This series was inspired by visiting the beach daily during Covid and my attempt at simplifying my art practice by limiting color palette and sketching on location. The colors that are predominant in coastal landscapes are ultramarine, grey, sepia and white. They are 4" by 6" many available at Fairweather Gallery in Seaside and Cannon Beach Arts Association
